  1. This nation has become increasingly dull to any truth, and fascinated with propaganda and political correctness. As black parents with a total of 9 children, 5 of which are sons ranging in ages from 21 to an infant soon to be born in September along with a nephew we recently became guardians to, we are qualified to say that sometimes, bad things happen for no apparent reason. However, more often than not, bad things happen because choices were made to determine such an outcome. One of my prayers as a mother is, Lord, please help me to see who my children truly are, not who I’d like them to be. When he reveals the true character of my children, I can in turn address their character/behavioral flaws and get them from where they are to where they need to be with God’s wisdom and grace. The tragedies are numerous in this ordeal, a son is dead, a man is scandalized, lies were perpetuated as truths, sides were determined by emotions and ignorance, and no one cares about facts or truth.

  2. If George Zimmerman had done as the dispatcher told him, this would have never have happened. Zimmerman should have never gotten out of his car. Most 17 year old guys are pretty cocky. Most kids (as a mother of 4, take their time while walking and talking. This guy is just as guilty of speculation. He’s guessing about the “lean.” Autopsy results don’t give psychological evidence. It takes two. Nobody was innocent but every time a choice was available, a poor one was made. This is biased journalism too.

    • Right. Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman was in the wrong for following Martin, then turning around, heading back to his vehicle and getting attacked.

Save it. Your four children have probably been suspended from school too.

  3. Isn’t it amazing when the truth is placed in front of the public and they still refuse to see it? I am sorry the Martins (I know that is not their last name but I forgot what it is) lost a son but I am even more sorry that this innocent (as in acquitted by a jury) man will more than likely never work again, have to live in secrecy, wouldn’t dare have children for they would be abused (you know I’m right!). I am sorry for George’s parents who have to live in hiding – can’t talk to their friends and relatives and they are totally innocent bystanders in this! I have to ask why the media and the likes of Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and other so-called leaders continue to stir this pot. What is going on elsewhere that we are NOT being told? How about the IRS scandals, Benghazi scandal, DOJ targeting journalists, NSA snooping on us (Hi, I am waving – you know who and where I am!), the train wreck called Obamacare, etc.? You get the picture. Don’t look over there at those things; just riot in the streets of your neighborhood, kill or maim your neighbors, steal from your fellow store-owners and make sure ALL the media cover it all the time. I am sick of it!

  4. LLW, my 17 year olds haven’t been cocky. They don’t post racist, violent rants on their FB accounts, haven’t been suspended, don’t do drugs, are not treating women like objects, haven’t stolen anything I’m aware of, and aren’t thugs. The dispatcher did not tell GZ to stay in the car. What she said was, “You don’t have to do that.” Very different. Before discounting his speculation, read the kid’s posts. If, after doing so, you can honestly think he’s innocent, then I feel very sorry for your children.
