What am I talking about?  I’m referring to an article about Apple Inc. that showcases just what Steve Jobs did differently to create the most successful and innovative technology company ever.  There are 10 rules that he broke religiously and the tenth one is Be Insanely Great.

Of course this sounds motivational and well, fabulous.  But what in the heckistan does it mean?  Here’s an excerpt from the article explaining just what this means.

10. Be insanely great

Easier said than done, sure. But understand that Steve Jobs’ famous boast about Apple is aspirational. A company that believes its products will be insanely great has a shot at making insanely great products.

The company that hems itself in by thinking about next quarter’s numbers, well, you know some words to describe the products they’ll turn out.
