Crossroads GPS has yet another video for our viewing pleasure!   This one is entitled Truth.  Crossroads is encouraging us to watch for Obama’s out and out lies during the debate.

NARRATOR:

If President Obama treats the debates the way he runs his campaign, the single most important rebuttal will be the truth.

“Governor Romney’s tax plan would actually raise taxes on middle class families…”  “Serial Dishonesty” according to the Wall Street Journal.

“As a corporate raider, he shipped jobs to China and Mexico.”  Misleading, unfair and untrue.  No evidence of offshoring jobs.

“Mitt Romney – an end to the Medicare Promise.”  A falsehood so outrageous,  it was dubbed the “Lie of the Year.”

“The Fast and Furious Program, uh was a field initiated program.  Begun under the previous administration.”  Falsely claimed, the government’s failed gun running operation that killed Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry started in October of 2009.

“This was not our program per se.”  Not Accurate. The loan Solyndra received was made possible by the stimulus.  So Mr. President, it is your program, per se.

“We took some emergency actions, but that accounts for about 10% of this increase in the deficit.”  Obama is falsely claiming again. At some point a president has to take ownership for his own actions.

“We haven’t gotten the comprehensive immigration reform done, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying or desire.”  Wrong again.  Obama never followed through on his word.  Even with complete control of Congress for 2 whole years.

But there is one thing Obama said that’s true: “If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from.”

Not taking responsibility, not getting results, not telling the truth.  We can’t afford any more of Barack Obama’s weak leadership.
