No matter how often the ills of socialism are highlighted, there’s always some intelligent sounding fact challenged boob who thinks, “If we do the Socialism here our way, this time will be different.  This time it will work!”  Currently the individual operating at full tilt boob is Bernie Sanders, who openly touts his socialistic tendencies.  Accordingly, the Federalist Papers is proving Sanders and his ilk wrong using a video of the BBC’s Daniel Pardo shopping in Venezuela for staples that Americans consider widely available:

Milk
Coffee
Corn flour
Detergent
Cooking oil
Shampoo
Toilet paper
Dish soap

Notice that he starts off by explaining there are price controls on the goods, which makes them scarce.  He spent a whole morning to find laundry detergent and corn flour.  Sounds frustrating doesn’t it?  Share this video as a means to end America’s emerging love affair with Socialism.
